Smells Like Teen Spirit

We spent the first part of Day 1 wishing Corey were with us. That is until we made it up to Lang Ho Mall. Wall to wall teenagers, gelled hair everywhere, and lots of fruit shakes.



Inside? Three full floors of super mall topped off with a 5 story escalator that puts you at the top of 7 levels of spiraling teen shopping. We took the escalator up -- and the elevator down. Had Corey been with us, we wouldn’t have escaped so quickly.



With that said it is impossible to escape the mall here. This is a city of crazy shoppers. I’ve seen at least three separate Pradas. Our hotel is connected to a very large (1000+ stores) mall, and this is one of maybe 4 malls of similar size in the city. They are always packed – day and night – with tons of people loaded with bags and walking very very fast.
